Growth Perspective Model

At Select Projects, we believe that professional growth starts with insight, transparency and perspective. This is why we introduced the Growth Perspective Model (GPM): a clear and forward-looking framework that gives direction to your development in several possible directions.

Long-term partnership
With this model, we make development transparent and accessible for everyone, with a view to a sustainable partnership. Whether you want to deepen your knowledge as an expert, become a coordinator or grow within your operational role: this model clarifies your possible direction of growth and shows how your tasks and responsibilities continue to develop within our organisation.
Three main roles in the GPM
For our organisation chart, we deliberately chose roles rather than functions. A role model focuses on what you do and contribute, not your job title. To still include the added value of functions, the most common functions were divided among the roles. The job title itself is less important within our GPM.
Operational role
Focused on direct implementation and impact in practice; more supportive (practical or administrative within own department/team)
Coordinator role
Focused on organising, aligning, guiding and connecting people and processes (cross-departmental)
Expert role
Focused on depth, innovation and substantive direction within a discipline (advisory to other departments)
Teamlead role
Besides these 3 roles, there is also a fourth, additional role within the model, namely that of team lead. This role can be performed on top of an existing content role.
Implementation levels in the GPM
Each role has several levels. Those levels indicate the level at which your work takes place.
These levels reflect, among other things, the degree of complexity, of autonomy, of impact you can make and of communication expected on your project, rather than being a one-to-one translation of seniority.
Level 1 - Focused on qualitative implementation;
Level 2 - Focused on optimisation within team/department;
Level 3 - Focused on strategic translation
More than a growth model, the GMP is embedded in our operation.

Performance Management
Your growth and mutual expectations will be the focus of evaluation interviews with your manager; your preparation for our performance management cycle is therefore linked to our GPM.

Our Academy
Targeted learning and development programmes tailored to your role and level and in line with your ambitions.

Compensation & Benefits
Our pay policy is also linked to this model. By working with clear roles and levels, we create transparency and fairness in valuing our roles, with the appropriate pay scales linked to them.
